Ingredients
- 1 can coconut milk
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2–3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce (to taste)
- 1–3 tablespoons red curry paste (to taste)
- Frozen dumplings (amount as desired)
- Thai spicy oil with crispy chili (for serving)
- Green onions (for serving)
- Cilantro (for serving)
- Rice (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl or directly in the baking dish, combine the coconut milk, minced garlic, teriyaki sauce, and red curry paste. Mix well. Adjust the teriyaki sauce and curry paste to taste if desired.
- Place the frozen dumplings in the baking dish, coated with the sauce, with their seams facing up.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 30 minutes. Afterwards, remove the foil to allow the dumplings to brown on top.
- Before serving, drizzle with Thai chili crisp oil and sprinkle with green onions and cilantro. Serve with rice if desired.
This recipe comes from Alex Daynes’s cooking segment on KSL. The coconut curry sauce is mixed in the baking dish, and the frozen dumplings cook under foil before the chili crisp, green onion and cilantro are added.
The video allows one to three tablespoons of curry paste according to taste. The converter leaves the dumpling quantity open and does not specify the coconut milk can size or servings; those values have not been guessed here. The cooking segment describes roughly 30 minutes in the oven and about 10 minutes of preparation.
The publisher’s written recipe accompanies this exact segment. The ingredients and steps above retain the Link2Eat converter’s version of the video rather than substituting the written recipe’s fixed quantities.
